Master certification - How do I save bots?

 Hello! I am doing the Master certification, however, I noticed that the Community edition of A360 does not have the option to export bots, and to top it off, I need to deliver the bots in a text file. How do I save bots in this version?

Copy formulas in a OneDrive Excel using Office 365 Excel package does not change the formula dynamically

I am trying to work on an Excel file stored on One Drive where I need to insert a new row and then copy formulas from a cell in existing row to the cell below that using Office 365 Excel package. When we do that manually using Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V, the formula is updated automatically based on the cell where we are pasting it. Using the package commands, the formula is pasted as it is. Is there an easy way out for this? ASK- The formula from cell D2 (A2+B2) when pasted to D3 should give us (A3+B3) and not (A2+B2).

Migration of the bot from Internet explorer to MS edge or chrome

Hi Team,We have implemented a bot that will work on the Oracle DB, which support only in IE. So we have created the bot as same.Now we could not run the bot because of IE disabled as per recent update. So we want to migrated the code in automation anywhere from IE to MS edge(IE mode)Kindly help us on how to work on this issue ?

Terminal emulator CRTL + V not working.

Hi all Is any alternative for commit record in terminal (ANSI ). In putty ctrl +v used to save / commit the record but terminal emulator it is not working.

Cannot create a folder using Folder Create action

Hello, I am using A360 v27 (on-prem). Whenever I try to create a folder the bot gets stuck (infinitely running) and it does nothing. Any ideas why this could happen? (it happens same thing no matter which Folder package version I use)

Hey, I am new around here . I started to use Automation Anywhere today. I have a problem.When I start my bot , my pc can’t open web page. It might be easy problem but I couldn’t solve the problem. Delete blank rows in excel

I have an excel sheet where there around 20 filled rows and rest of the rows are blank(Till the end of the sheet). I tried to delete the blank rows by using 'remove blank row' command but it is continuously loading since 15 mins and not getting executed so I stopped the task

Passing Credential Variable to Python Script

Hi, I’m using a python script which sends an Email via SMTP for a specific process. I wanted to pass the credential variables to my script, but it’s not allowed to pass a credential variable to a function. Is there a way to solve this issue?So basically I want to fetch the username and password from Automation Anywhere Credentials and pass it to my python script.Best RegardsEmil

SAP Package: Left Click not place properly

Code: Read then Left Click  Bot click 4-5 rows above the correct selected rowBot looping read element and select the focus element (match shipto), the read value is correct but SAP click do not place at the element bot found, it seem to click position at 4-5 rows above. Anyone ever found this please let me know.

unable to delete device for community edition showing the error devicemanagement.register.validation.single.device

In the community edition i am not able to delete the device. I am getting the below error when i tried removing the device using mange tab.Cannot delete device, as it is part of an active bot deploymentIf the problem persists, please contact your system administrator.When i am trying to connect device it is showing the below errorSystem allows only a single device to be registered. Task Bot built in older version. How can I upgrade the packages for use with it?

I am trying to troubleshoot an issue with email attachment saving through the email package.It seems like the issue is due to the bot saving the attachments without a file extension. When I create a new task bot, this issue is not repeatable with the same emails. It seems like the older task bot is using a different email package version to connect to Outlook.Is there any way to upgrade these packages without completely re-making the task bot?We have been using Automation 360 the whole time, so this isn’t being migrated from 2019. Old task bot step details:Old task bot step details Newly created task bot step details:Newly created task bot step details

JSON node list and value error

Hi, I am having trouble with the JSON Package. I have POST method which is reading first names and last names from a text and responses back to AA360 as a JSON. When I try to get a node value or node list I get an error.  For some reason my returned JSON looks like so: (I doubt my error message has anything to do with this layout?)[{"text":"Max Dal Prato","external_id":null,"error":false,"extractions":[{"tag_name":"First Name","extracted_text":"Max","parsed_value":"Max","offset_span":[0,2]},{"tag_name":"Last Name","extracted_text":"Dal Prato","parsed_value":"Dal Prato","offset_span":[4,12]}]}] My JSON Action: Any help is appreciated!

Record capture using MS Active Accessibility on dropdown is working in bot creator but failing in bot runner

An action to select UL (unordered list) item is performed by Record Capture using the technology Microsoft Active Accessibility. Am forced to use this technology type as HTML tech type of UL tag isn't working to select the item text, it executes without selecting the actual item. Problem with Microsoft Active Accessibility recorder action is, it's only executing as bot creator but not executing as bot runner.
