Hello all, first, full disclosure: this is my first project on regards to Document Automation and also my first in A360 after I spent a couple years back in 2018-2020 working with v11. I’m trying to unravel the mystery (at least it is to me) of how to actually make use of a learning instance in production. I know how to create it, fine tune it, publish it… read a lot of docs. But I’m missing the actual way of sending files to it from a task bot. I was going through this guide:https://docs.automationanywhere.com/bundle/enterprise-v2019/page/enterprise-cloud/topics/iq-bot/native/upload-files-learning-instance-in-public-mode.html But then I found it uses the AARI Web package, which is no longer present in my current version of AA. I could read that its substitute is Process Composer. Is that it? Should I go with Process Composer: Create a request, then? Thanks a lot in advance,Juan.

in my loop i have to extract some data from web and put it into excel first time it works and when it goes for 2nd iteation it stops and does’t work as i have seen code is i guess accurate why shoul it be running for first time than

Bot Running window not showing, what  to do? i  dont see the update as -Dbot. agent. ui=false”,..  its  all  blank…..  so is  there any other  solution?

Hi guys , I’m trying to save attachment from outlook. When i receive mail with attachment im not able to save it in first bot run. bot does not go inside loop to save attachment. I have attached some screenshots for reference. Is this because of system date?

Team,Since the beginning, I've been encountering the following issues with Automation Anywhere under Workspace (AWS):The bot fails to run smoothly in the cloud. It only operates when the RDP instance is opened on a specific laptop (the same one I use for bot development using the RDP instance). If I open the same RDP instance on any other laptop, it doesn't run properly.

The File package does not contain a “Move file” action. Why not?Our workaround is to use the Copy/Delete actions to copy a file from a source folder to destination folder, and then delete the file from the source folder. This approach takes time. Is there another way to rapidly move the files other than copying/deleting?I appreciate any suggestions.

I need to be able to send a file to a bot from a web page, is this possible to do using the automation anywhere deploy api? If possible, could you tell me how I can do it?

Hi, I am accessing a table in my web application and intending to edit some of the text values by SetTextByIndex action. I am getting correct value when I tried GetTextByIndex action however getting Table not found when tried to set value in same cell by SetTextByIndex keeping all other properties same. Any help will be appreciated on this? This I need to achieve reordering of table items in original table as mouse move option not helping in scrolling situation.

Hello everyone, I am using the Sharepoint Package, more specifically the SharePoint: Get folder(s)This package works as expected when the Sharepoint folder has a standard name. Typically, I have one folder per customer, and the folder is named “Company A Gmbh” → In the List of folders containing the result I will have “Company A Gmbh”If there is a “+” sign, for example “Company A + Company B Gmbh” the List of folders containing the result is emptyI have not extensively tested, but some other special characters seem not to be supported. Moreover # are not supported, whereas there are actually folders with # in SharepointThe same goes for the ‘ character, which is fully supported by Sharepoint

Hello,I'm encountering an issue with a loop in my Automation Anywhere task. The loop is supposed to continue until a "Save As" window appears. Within this loop, the bot also checks for a pop-up message indicating that a report does not exist. The process works as expected when I set the "Keep Trying for (seconds)" to 0. However, issues arise when I set this to a higher value, such as 3600 seconds. The intention is to prevent the loop from running indefinitely if neither the "Save As" window nor the pop-up message appears. Unfortunately, even when the "Save As" window does appear, the loop doesn't exit immediately but waits for the entire duration (3600 seconds) before proceeding. To troubleshoot, I tested with a shorter duration of 10 seconds. My expectation was that if the "Save As" window did not appear within 10 seconds, the bot would exit the loop and move on. However, the loop seems to continue indefinitely, disregarding the timeout setting. Moreover, it appears that the set duration

The last year I've started developing a userScript that enhances the user interface of Automation Anywhere, introducing a command palette and several UI improvements. Here's what it includes:Universal Copy/Paste: Allows you to copy and paste actions between different control rooms. Improved Input Fields: Converts horizontal scroll input fields into text areas. Text Area Conversion: Shows all contents at a glance by breaking words in text areas. Redesigned Buttons: More user-friendly buttons for selecting actions, variables, and triggers. Font and Background Enhancements: Increases font size, uses Cascadia Code, adds colorful backgrounds.

"Hey everyone, I've been using the AA 360 enterprise and noticed an issue when selecting the 'Start' tab in the in-process section. Specifically, I'm unable to input text in the 'Request Title' and 'Data Privacy (optional)' tabs. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it a known bug or limitation of the platform? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!"

Using accurate Gmail SMTP server settings, sending from an email address that requires 2FA to sign in. Is that what is causing this error?

Is there any way to calculate ROI using A360? ROI calculator is available in A360?

I tried restarting the services and laptop, reconnecting the bot agent and etc. but still facing this problem repeatedly.

Select an option from a drop down menu after using capture recording option, but after successful running of bot there is no action happening in capture option.

Hi,We have a bot that is scheduled to run every hour to check an outlook email account for emails to process. It is linked to COE manager which provides us with a count of how many times the bot ran successfully or unsuccessfully. The success count is including those times the bot ran but there were no emails to process. Is there a way of eliminating those from the counts. For example, if there was only one email or even a handful of emails but they were all processed during one run of the bot then have the success count show 1 instead of 24.

Hi All,  I am using the A360 Enterprise client on my PC as a testing environment. Recently, I am getting the above warning message upon logging through Admin account. I know there is a way to get the Key with a limited period of access (6 months or something). Could anyone help me out how to get the Key?  Thanks in advance. 😀

I just upgraded a control room to the latest version V.32 22255 but it doesn’t have internet connection thus unable to update the bot agent. so i am now trying to get the latest bot agent, move the installer there and manually reinstall the bot agent. However, there is no Bot agent in Apeople → Download tab. Either i miss it or it is never there because i found the bot agent for older version but none for the V.32.I am also wondering can i used the Bot Agent Installer i get from community edition (same version and build) and manually reinstall the bot agent using the Bot Agent Installer from Community to Enterprise (On Prem) Control Room?

Hello RPA Community, I was wondering if anyone has come across this error when clicking a dropdown in the editor.  This happens when trying to automate a web page that’s loaded in Chrome.I have already tried clearing my cache and removing any unnecessary extensions as suggested but the problem persists.  Reloading does reload and takes me back to where I left off but can’t proceed since as soon as I click on the dropdown to select browser/application/window, I get the same results. Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello  I am new to this forum discussion and now facing an issue when  trying  to initialize the Automation Anywhere object in my automation script. The error  I'm getting is like  "Failed to Initialize Automation Anywhere Object." I am using Windows 10 machine with Automation Anywhere Enterprise client installed. I'm also writing my automation script in Python using the Automation Anywhere Enterprise Python Client Library. You can check below Initialization Code Snippet asfrom aae_client import Client client = Client(     url='https://<your_control_room_url>',    username='<your_username>',     password='<your_password>')aa_object = client.aa_object();When I try to run the script, it stop working  at the line where I am trying  to initialize the Automation Anywhere object (aa_object = client.aa_object()). The error message, as mentioned above , simply shows : "Failed to Initialize Automation Anywhere Object."I have confirmed  that the Control Room URL, username, and
