Hi @Shweatal,
I am not sure if the Bot Agent works on Mac OS. I believe you need a Windows OS.
@Marc Mueller @Aaron.Gleason please correct me if I am wrong here.

Hi @Satarupa,
Please follow below steps and see if that helps:
1. Uninstall the already installed bot agent (if any) from your machine.
2. Make sure that you are logged into the AA Control Room that is provided specifically for this training. It should be something like this - https://aa-devx-sbx.cloud.automationanywhere.digital/#/login?next=/dashboard/home
3. Now install the bot agent from this AA Control Room and enable the Google Chrome and MS Edge Browser extensions with full access (On every site, enable in incognito mode, etc.).
4. Rerun ERIC.

Hi @Vatsy and @Shweatal,

as far as I know there is no for MAC.

I read somewhere that this is planned but not sure if it is available now… 🤔

@Aaron.Gleason could you bring some light in the dark please?😉

Cheers

Marc

This is due to the Bot Agent not being installed on your machine. Follow the instructions in our post and you’ll be good to go.

All - As of today, we’ve updated ERIC and the instructions on page 1 of this post, accordingly.

Hey @domerentnest this will be because you’ve not setup the Bot Agent and Chrome Extension correctly. We’ve updated the instructions in our opening post, here.

We’ve also updated ERIC. If you delete it out of Private and re-clone from Public you’ll be good to go.

You will need a Windows PC (or a VM on a Mac like Parallels or VirtualBox) to run these exercises.

Thank you!! It still does not work. :( I believe it is clashing with my work environment. I might be wrong - but I have the latest Bot update installed.

The Bot couldn’t access your Downloads folder or you put in an incorrect file path in the form. Can you try again with another file path?

i have already tried with multiple path, i am getting same error message only. i guess it looks the boot tries to download a file from a path, may be that path is blocked. since i am working in my office laptop

I am still getting the following errors in ERIC. I have tried all of the solutions in the thread. Is there something I am missing?

@AEGC this is an issue with your Chrome/Edge browser extension. You need to make sure this is enabled and installed as per the instructions in the first post of this thread.

@Oli.Morris Is there a particular way I need to uninstall & reinstall the extension to make it work? Because my settings say that it is installed & enabled

@AEGC if you see this:

when you right click on the extension icon and select “Options” then I’d recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Bot Agent. Following our guide in the first post, you should see the green check marks in the Control Room:

@Oli.Morris I am not getting the green check for “Enable extension”, but it says Chrome says the extension is installed and enabled. Is there something more to enabling it than for it to be installed & “on”?
