Welcome to Week 3 of your APA Training Camp! This week, we will focus on how to effectively implement agentic process automations, and you’ll get hands-on experience learning advanced AI capabilities and testing them.

Congratulations on reaching the halfway mark of APA Training Camp! If you kept up with the trainings so far and have completed weeks 1 and 2 by April 20th, you will be receiving the APA Training Camp Pacesetter badge. Two more weeks to go!

Step 1: Complete Your Week 3 Courses
This week’s courses are designed to take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete.

  1. Working with Enterprise Knowledge
  2. Summarizing Information with AI Agents
  3. Translating Text with AI Agents
  4. Generating Content with AI Agents
  5. Making AI-Driven Decisions
  6. Testing AI Completeness and Faithfulness

Step 2: Use the Discussion Guide to Identify and Analyze a Process for AI Integration
This week, you're going to get practice using the "Have" and "Need" concept explained in the courses this week. Gather your team and determine which process in your organization you want to deconstruct so you can see where AI skills can assist. To get you started, we provided three example use cases and we broken them down using the "Have" and "Need" concept.

  1. Week 3 Discussion Guide
  2. Work Type Identification and Value Analysis Team Sheet

For ease of review, we created a .pptx of the Work Type Identification and Value Analysis Team Sheet

Step 3: Join Office Hours to Get Support and Ask Questions
Join the office hours that work best for your schedule, but please note these are NOT mandatory and simply designed to help you get the most from the training experience. Joining will give you access to our experts so you can ask specific questions and receive tailored guidance that addresses your unique challenges.

Step 4: Join Our LIVE Coaching Session
Mark your calendars for this week’s LIVE coaching session scheduled on Thursday, April 24th at 10:30am EDT / 8:00pm IST. If this time doesn’t work for you, don’t worry, it is not mandatory to attend and will be immediately available for replay. In Week 3, join @Oli.Morris  and @Max.Cassidy  as they dive into the “Have” and “Need” concept to deconstruct work types and decide if an AI skill can be introduced.

Did you miss last week’s Live Coaching Session!? No worries! You can check out the recording here.

Step 5: Take Part in Our Discussion Series to Win Swag
Each Thursday, we’ll post a discussion prompt asking everyone a question about something related to the courses. Make sure you head over and leave a comment because when you post, you’ll receive an entry into our Swag Sweepstakes Drawing. We’ll announce the winners for that week in the next Live Coaching Session.

See you next week!

Until then, let us know what metrics you have in mind to show that generative AI is actually working as expected. How do you plan to track these in your automation program? ⬇️

Week 3… Let’s Go! :D

Excited for week 3.

Excited to test out these AI capabilities—bring it on, Week 3!

Please let me know in case anybody has encountered API task failure while doing Summarizing Information with AI Agents??

More info on API task failure for - Summarizing Information with AI Agents assignment.

Please attach here (provide) content generation document mentioned in the “Generating Content with AI Agents” session. I have below one in the Prompts folder not the one used in the walkthrough demo.

Thanks in advance.!

Excited for Week 3 content

@MP51 : I got exactly the same error as you while running the Summary Process.

Did you manage to resolve it??  Thanks

Hi Team,

I am unable to connect to the https://ai.automationanywhere.com getting the error as Your organization is not configured for SSO login. Please contact your administrator.

@smandha1984 : I had the same issue, got around by clicking on Sign Up.. but still could not create the project and later found that we are not supposed be creating the Project.. it was just a demo for us.

@Srini 6969 @smandha1984

You need to sign up first, this is different login than APA Training login credentials.

@smandha1984  I am able to create project, please try again

@MP51  @Srini 6969 summary process issue, can you double check the variables configured correctly?

Hi Team, I am able to Sign-up to my account without any issues now. thanks for your support.

Try with another email account , it will work.

Yea , same issue.

@Vaigai 3989

Did you added Variable $strAInput$ in input values in step1 of SummarizeAPI  ?

Hello Folks! 😃
The Week 3 courses are completed! Here’s the link to my LinkedIn post related to the details of this week’s key takeaways! 📝

Cheers! 😊

What metrics you have in mind to show that generative AI is actually working as expected. How do you plan to track these in your automation program?

Here are some metrics to consider:

Performance Metrics

  • Accuracy: Track whether the AI's responses meet expected correctness.

  • Relevance: Measure how well AI output aligns with user prompts and intended context.

  • Consistency: Evaluate the system's ability to deliver uniform quality across outputs.

User-Centric Metrics

  • Customer Satisfaction: Conduct surveys or use sentiment analysis on user feedback to assess satisfaction.

  • Adoption Rates: Measure how widely and frequently your automation program is being utilized by the target audience.

Efficiency Metrics

  • Response Time: Track how quickly the AI generates outputs to user prompts.

  • Error Rate: Log incidents where the AI produces incorrect or problematic results.

  • Operational Cost Savings: Measure reductions in time, labor, or expenses due to automation.

Agent Capability Metrics:

  • Task Success Rate: Measure how effectively agents complete assigned tasks autonomously.

  • Learning and Adaptation Speed: Track how quickly agents adjust to new inputs or scenarios.

Autonomy Metrics:

  • Decision-Making Accuracy: Analyze the correctness of decisions made without human intervention.

Scalability Metrics:

  • Capacity Utilization: Monitor how resources are allocated and managed by agents.

  • Growth Potential: Track how easily the program scales to handle increased workloads.

Tracking Approach for Automation Programs

  1. Data Collection: Implement robust logging systems to capture performance and user interaction data. Centralize data from all agents for real-time monitoring and insights.

  2. Feedback Loops for Continuous improvement: Create mechanisms for users to provide feedback directly and use this data to refine the system. Incorporate metrics into adaptive learning algorithms for iterative refinements.

  3. Analytics Tools: Use data visualization and reporting tools to analyze trends and identify improvement areas.

  4. Performance Reviews: Regularly audit agent behavior and outcomes against predefined benchmarks.

@Vaigai 3989

Did you added Variable $strAInput$ in input values in step1 of SummarizeAPI  ?

@rbkadiyam , Yes , have added.

Hi Team,

When I try to create a new project, I get this error.

Could you help me please?

Hi @SARA.A_0 ,

Can you try with same name provided in the training session.

All - The Enterprise Knowledge video was follow-along. As part of APA Training Camp you do not need to sign up.

Hi @SARA.A_0 ,

Can you try with same name provided in the training session.

Hi @Vaigai 3989

The name of the image I submitted is the same name as the training session.

the link for the today session is where ?
