This is more a question around methodology than technical. I am curious what others are using for automating processes that require MFA through an authenticator app (Google, MS, etc.)? I know there are methods out there, such as accessing through a python script and pytop, I am more curious what folks have had success (or failure) implementing. I have a number of customer portals that will be coming up in August with a change from text-based MFA (working today) to an authenticator app. Just beginning to plan the approach, as I’ll want it the same across all portals if possible, and of course as stable as possible.

I am trying to extract few form field from document automation with unstructured document and i am facing below issue. Let me know if any of you faced the same issue? EXTRACT_FAILED - [Native] : 500 : DOCUMENT_FAILED : HTTPSConnectionPool(host='openaipublic.blob.core.windows.net', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /encodings/cl100k_base.tiktoken (Caused by ConnectTimeoutError(<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection

I am trying to do an "UPDATE" statement using Excel as a DB on a cell in a column that is empty, but I am getting a syntactical error, how can I fix it?

Hi everyone, I have an AARI process that ends with a form to validate data/show screenshots to the end user. One of these steps is optional, and may not upload screenshots.I have noticed that when there are actually screenshots, there is no error, but when there are none, a pop-up appears above the form that says “Un problème inattendu est survenu” (it stays in French even if I switch to English), it translates as “An unexpected problem occurred”.It does not block the form, I only have to click ok, but it is horrible in terms of user experience.Does anyone know what could be the cause for this pop-up and how to correct that ?

From given list of strings (separated by new lines), extract only the 9-digit numbers that start with 1.Input:0123456781234567892345678901234567890Expected Output: 123456789Please provide detailed step actions and variable to be used in each of the actions so that flow should run efficiently.

I want to add my credential variable to a Python script, but the script requires the data to be in string format. Updating these details in the config file and passing them on could lead to a data violation.Note: The client will not accept the use of the Bot store. Looking for your kind support here . Thanks ,Nirupama G P

I have a bot that updates information in the database. I set a conditional statement to check if the entered ID is valid (if it exists in the database). If it is, it is executed, but if not, a message is displayed. The problem is that regardless of the entered ID, the RPA runs, appearing as if the information was updated in the database.I debugged it, and when I enter a valid ID that exists, the table variable returns a value of 1 in row 0. However, when I enter an ID that doesn't exist, it returns a value of zero (0) in row 0.How can I use this information to validate, since the if statement doesn't have this option; the available options are: empty data table, number of columns, and number of rows?

Hi all,I have an unattended Automation Anywhere bot that uses Microsoft Outlook to download email attachments. The bot currently authenticates via Microsoft Identity Platform (MSIT tenant) using a client ID and client secret. I recently received a notification that Microsoft will be disabling support for client secret-based authentication for Azure AD apps. This will likely break the current bot functionality. Has anyone already updated their Outlook automation to support certificate-based authentication or OAuth 2.0 with PKCE as a workaround? My Setup:Bot type: Unattended Outlook usage: Downloading email attachments Current auth method: MSIT tenant – client ID + client secret ( using rest api and python code no usage of email package ) Platform: Automation Anywhere A360What I Need:Step-by-step guidance to switch from client secret to automation anywhere email package Or, a working approach using OAuth with PKCE inside Automation Anywhere. Any best practices for securing and refreshing

Hello, I have the community edition of Automation Anywhere and developed a couple of Bots for practice. I was recently issued a new laptop. Although I can still sign on to Automation Anywhere and see the bots, they will not run on the new laptop and I get a message that says “device not ready for deployment”. How can I run these  bots on my new laptop ? I no longer have the old laptop. Thank you,John

Hi everyone, I have bots in production environment. They connect to a simple webpage. They used to work correctly. All of a sudden they stopped working with the message “The web page took too long to load. Increase wait time and try again.”. I have added delay, I have re-developed the bot, I resetted Google Chrome to its default version, double checked that it is the same version that on my local machine, that it is the latest package (recorder package 4.1.0) , I still get the same error. On the other hand, on my local machine it works perfectly. Is there a way to solve that ?

Hello Hello,  Chrome has been upgraded to version 138 . It causes an error message when the bot try to start session using Browser Automation, it fails. Good day AA community team! I’m hoping to get some recommendations for a roadblock I’m currently facing during my validation process in Document Automation. Our business requirement requires us to extract a group of texts from a structured PDF file, but we’re unable to do so successfully. The group of texts are part of multiple separate field regions which I think is causing this failure in the validation process. Due to privacy policies, I’m unable to share the exact documents we’re processing, so I’ll share a screenshot from one of the sample invoices from the AAU to try and provide a clearer picture to what I mean by "multiple separate field regions” .  For example we need to extract the entire “Automation Anywhere” section, which is not part of a single field region (i.e. the address), but separate ones “Automation” and “Anywhere”. Unsuccessful attempts done so far from my end: Created a custom field region by highlighting the entire section “Automation Anywhere” Created a regex pa

Hi everyone,I have a Control Room hosted on my customer’s Virtual Machines. This morning new bots and folders appeared that I did not develop. My customer denies developing them (and they don’t know how to do, it is not yet in production). Those bots have been imported according to the audit logs (and given the fact the packages are not found they most probably have been)In the logs I see a mysterious “ Auto Download Templates” that seems to have triggered the importation.I was at that time not connected to either the runner VMs or the control room.Should I report this as a security incident ? How dangerous are those bots ? Can I delete them ?I have tried to Google their names, "CLS_Email_Response", “W2 Form Document Automation” but did not find anything.

I’m currently having an issue with the validation process in Document Automation. I’m facing a road block during the validation process due to an “Unknown Cluster ID” issue. I noticed that during the validation phase the data where the document ID should be is being replaced with a “Cluster Id: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000” and when attempting to validate I’ll receive the ff error code: --UNKNOWN cluster IDFeedback will not be generatedError: CMSHF006.unknown.cluster.id--My understanding is that the document ID, which is being replaced by the cluster ID, is generated post the extraction process, so my guess is that the issue is occurring some time during the extraction process, even though it’s showing as ‘completed’.I’m not able to find any documentation regarding this error message so I’m a bit stumped. Every document I try to feed into the learning instance is blocked by this same issue, so my learning instance has become unusable. I tried creating two additional learning in

Request for Suggestion:Is it feasible to identify the color of an object so that the bot can take appropriate actions based on the detected color? For example, if the object is red, one type of bot action is triggered, whereas a green object would initiate a different activity.

Hi All,We are facing an intermittent SAP Login issue with one of our production Bot, that performs monitoring activity on SAP BW system. The error message thrown here is "Maximum number of sessions have been reached for this connection. Please retry after sometime".  This Bot runs daily in every 30 minutes of interval starting from 00:05 to 06:05 hours. And on an average 2 to 3 runs out of 13 runs are impacted due to this error every day.We have added multiple retries to SAP login and are closing SAP sessions in each retry. In addition to that, in each retry we are generating a new SAP session name by concatenating "SAP" text with a Random Number being generated at runtime by providing a range 'Beginning of Range' as '0' & 'End of Range' as '99999999'. Also, we have all server side client scripting enabled by default in all our bot runners.  Please help in providing some insights on the issue and any suggestion to resolve the sam

Hello Community,I'm looking for a way to connect to SharePoint from Automation Anywhere. The SharePoint I'm dealing with is on-premises, and I only have the user credentials (User ID, password). Can you help me with this?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice and experiences from anyone who has tackled this in production: 📌 Scenario:I have multiple Automation Anywhere (AA360) runners, and sometimes a bot can get stuck on a Message Box (or another interactive action) if the user does not respond, leaving the bot in Running state in Control Room indefinitely without progressing. 🔍 What I need to build:I would like to create a “Bot Watcher” running on a dedicated machine, whose sole purpose is to periodically monitor all other runners and bots to: ✅ Check if any bot on any monitored runner has been running for too long (e.g., 15–30 minutes) without progressing, indicating it may be stuck on a Message Box or similar interactive action.✅ Send automatic alerts (email) if the execution exceeds the defined threshold.✅ (Ideally) Capture which action or step the bot was on before getting stuck to improve troubleshooting and process refinement. 👀 Questions for the community:💡 I’m open to solutions using a schedu

Hi,The email server is not sending mail or showing any error while running. It keeps on running, even for over an hour. The configuration used is as follows:Email server : smtp.office365.comPort no: 587/25 (both having same situation)As per Biocon policy, the SSL/TSL must be enabled. When it is not enabled, the bot shows a Connection error message. PFA the screenshots and run log from CR. Kindly provide a solution for this.Old case: 01934975  [ ref:_00D90gDTd._5002tKfSce:ref ]Regards,Lekshmi

Am I missing any roles or permissions.  From “Automation” - Trying to access the “AI Skill” getting the error message as “ Error - Access is denied” .  From the above clearly showing the logged user doesn’t have proper roles and permissions. please guide the required steps.Note:Added the user with roles: AAE_Basic, AAE_Bot Developer. Please share any links for reference and  consider this as priority. Let me know if any clarifications on the above.Thanks.
