What is the relation between window variables and and recorder capture actions? Initial analysis says that as the window title changes, so does the variable. Is that a correct assumption to make or is there any other criteria for variable change too?

Are there Control Room APIs for creating files and folders?

Curious is anyone else has tried creating repository files and folders via the Control Room APIs? I see routes for reading a list of folders, getting file details, etc. I'm not sure the API resources exist to create either--I've checked the usual places. I'm trying to figure out how to include folder and task template creation from my framework. Instead of having users clone my "template" files to their private workspace and build from there. I want to provide that service via the framework. Any ideas?

Renewing SSL Certificate before expiry

So the SSL Certificate/CAintermediate is about to expired next month and i am given the task to renew it before expiry. is there a docs about this? the one i found is docs for IQBot and i'm not quite sure. i do know that i needed to remove the old certificate, download another certificate, and do the cmd command. but i hesitate to do so. can anyone explain it in detail? thanks

mouse settings for left and right-handed users for attended bots

I have a bot built using right-handed mouse settings but its selecting other buttons for left-handed users. Are there any options available to make it work for both types of users?

Getting "404 - Page not found" error while opening bot use cases in Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional (Automation 360) - 2022

Hi Team, I have cleared Step 1 - Q&A Exam/Test in A360 Master certification. But When I tried to open use cases in "Master certification bot use case assignment", I'm getting 404-Page not found Error. Please find the below screenshot for your reference. Kindly suggest.  Thanks & Regards,Vineetha S

Python function runs in manual script, but not as a control room file

I am not able to figure out why this is happening.I have a simple function that just returns the same variable that is passed to it. When I use the Python manual input, the function executes fine.When I try to use the same function with a control room file, I always get 'bot error' as my output. The code is just:def test(part_no): return part_no I've tried more complex functions using pandas, and am able to get it running in manual input, but as soon as I try loading it as a control room file, it fails. File:Manual:

How to figure out this window and OK button?

The window which appears in front has OK button but the window has no name.So A360 cant find which window its.So i used If ImageRecognition- window exist in window and all other options. They all work when i watch the bot running,but when i run it from controlroom, this doesnt work. How to fix it?

Hi Team, My computer is not getting connected to Control room in community edition A360. I tried reinstalling Bot agent and also tried deleting and adding the device as well but nothing is working.

Few days back my community edition A360 was working fine and i was able to create and run bots. However since few days, i am facing an issue in which the device is not getting connected to CR. I have tried reinstalling the bot agent as well but still it doesn't work. Deleting and adding the device is also not working. It stays forever at the page where it tries it tries to connect the device with the Control Room. I need to submit my Master certification bots within 2 days. Bots are ready but I can't run them now.

Hi team, Query related to Gitlab integration with A360 Control room and code migration from DEV -> Test -> Prod.

In the normal development projects, there would be a master branch (production), QA branch(test), and other working branches for multiple Developers. And when the Dev Code is production ready, the dev team raises a pull request which is approved by a lead and merged to QA Branch and so on. 1. Could you please guide me as to whether such a setup is possible with AA control rooms in DEV, PROD (multiple environments) etc i.e Code migration from DEV to QA environments be managed by git and avoid the manual import /exportprocess?2. Or should the set up be like Gitlab integration be set up in each CR separately. And code migration is done manually from one CR to another via Export/Import.? Could you please provide an insight on which option above is feasible with automation anywhere?

Why does Capture:area action capture different places on botcreator and botrunner screens?

Here is the screen: I use Screen:Capture the area, and save it as source.png. So i can use it in If - ImageRecognition action. I also have that OK button as a png file. If that png file is in source.png, then i will click OK button. But botrunner captures different area Here is what on botcreator screen:   here is what on botrunner screen:

hello. I need two help. 1. A360 Master Certi. I'm preparing a bot submission in the process, but https://rpademo.automationanywhere.com/autograderPage is not responding. 2. I submitted the wrong bot due to a community server error. Please allow me to submit the bot again.- I requested it on August 4th, and it said that it would be processed by August 12th, but it has not been processed yet.

A360 - Data Table: exclusionary join? (Only return records that do not match)

Is there a way to join two data tables so that the resulting table does not contain any of the records in the second table? This would be the equivalent of a left, right, or inner exclusionary join in SQL. This would be immensely helpful to me as I am trying to quickly remove all of the records in one CSV from another CSV. Thanks

Data Table: Join - how do I name the column names?

I am trying to join two tables and I cannot name the columns correctly. I have checked the underlying CSV files to ensure that the column headings are correct and matched my Action specifications accordingly, but I still get a bot error stating: ""Cannot find column with name [insert col name here]" in data table. Please check whether the column name is valid. If the problem persists"" Am I missing something? I first read a CSV to a table variable. The CSV has headers. Then I join that table to another table with the same situation. I think I am just missing something that is implicitly understood about the way A360 wants me to do this. Any help is appreciated!
