Using Credentials in TaskBots

We have been successful to store ID/PW information (say for an email connector) in the Locker/Credential.  Assigned the Bot Developers to have Consumer access.On the EmailSend Action, that Locker/Cred can be selected and used without the Bot Developer ever seeing the value.  Great. Question - how to use on other fields? We have stored email server name also in the Credential for example.  But on the editbox to provide email server, it only accepts a String. Yes, Bot Store’s Credential Manager package seems to allow the read/conversion of a Cred to a String - but now the Bot Developer could simply send it to a MessageBox or LogToFile, etc. Is there a way to use Credentials as just simple “variables” that can be used in Actions, but not easily displayed?  The Help Docs mention “hostnames”, but I have not found an example of anything beyond ID/PW being used/accepted. We are using Enterprise Cloud Build 23228.

Document Automation Failed to capture correct Invoice Number

Bot got confused while extracting  ‘I’, and ‘1’ and extracted ‘1NQR’ instead ‘INQR’.If Invoice number contains PSINV8888, BOT extracted PS1NV which is wrong.If invoice number is I0782 BOT extracted 10782 How can we resolve the issue.

Document Extraction got stuck at process document extraction

Hi, I am using https://aa-devx-sbx.cloud.automationanywhere.digital/ portal login as part of Automation camp program and created learning instance.When I am trying to run the “Process Document” action by uploading test Invoice, the request is still in Queue for more than 1 hour, I have tried restarting BOT Agent but no luck, please help me on this.

I’m getting the below error message when trying to create Train Classification Model. Please can someone help me fix the issue? There was a problem at line 1This may be due to the following reason: The training files are below the minimum threshold of 15 for the categories: Document Automation. Runas user(s) are not added to the consumer role

Hello there,We are using A360 Cloud and whenever we try to run a bot with queue (which previously was run without any issues) I encounter with the following message:“Runas user(s) are not added to the consumer role” Which is weird, as the roles that the bot runner has assigned are both part of queue consumer permissions and device pool ones as well…really annoying. Cheers!

Document Automation Process => EXTRACT_FAILED - [Native] : 500 : StorageSvcError

After I Create learning Instance In Document Automation  when I use Process in file type of PDF (one page )  it take long time and Failed ( status ) and give me this Error =>“EXTRACT_FAILED - [Native] : 500 : StorageSvcError : File upload failed : File name: 0_processed.png, File type: PREPROCESSED_IMAGE, msg: "An unexpected problem occurred"}” a try on file type tiff and it work and Status (Completed) Does anyone have an explanation or solution to this problem?

Chrome Browser does not open in Unattended mode but works fine when viewing it live on the Unattended device

Bot executes fine and opens Chrome Browser as the default browser in the Virtual Machine when viewing the deployment live. However, when scheduling the deployment unattended to the same VM, it is failing to open the chrome browser. Actions taken:Browser and Recorder packages are up to date I’ve tried changing the deployment type from Regular to RDP (did not resolve issue) I verified that the chrome browser is up to date and the AA360 extension I made sure the VM has google chrome as the default browser to open I’ve restarted the VM several times I’ve unpaired/paired VM device in the control room (including uninstalling/re-installing the bot agent)Please help determine what could be the issue. Again, the Bot executes flawlessly if I manually log into the VM and watch it.

Connection error when running "Hello World" BOT

 I am still not able to get a proper connection. I’ve tried several things.   I signed completely out and started over.  I updated the PW under both the My Profile and Devices section of Settings so that they all match.  See screen prints. I was delayed in starting the course and I’m trying to make sure I will be successful.  I do not think I be able to proceed far in the course until I get this resolved. Please, any help would be appreciated.Connection Error: Passwords:

Deployment of Robot on 32-bit Operating System

Good afternoon everyone,I have a project under analysis that involves a 32-bit application which does not function on 64-bit systems. Therefore, migrating this application to 64-bit is not feasible. The documentation for AA 360 v.29 indicates that a 64-bit operating system is required, as well as the Bot Agent. Has anyone had experience with a deployment on 32-bit, or is it completely impossible? Thanks you

I am unable to authenticate my credentials through API

Hi All,I have a bot stuck in In Progress activity. I tried resetting the bot runner device through the API but I am unable to authenticate my credentials. It gives an Access is Denied message when I try to authenticate through Postman. Please help. I am attaching a screenshot for your reference.

After register Community Edition Account many times, but our user never received "Welcome to Automation Anywhere Community Edition" Email to setup password. Pls help.

Our co-worker email account is Mina_Yu@compal.com   (this account didn’t revice any email.)Our other co-worker email account can revice the  "Welcome to Automation Anywhere Community Edition" Email to setup password.Could you help to check whether AA had send the Email to this email account ?

Automation 360 v.24 On-prem longer than usual task execution

Hallo,I’ve got a On-prem CR installation of AA360 v.24 and Unattened Bot Runner wth Agent v. 21.134 installed and Chrome Manifest V3 plugin.Everything worked smoothly and then a few weeks ago something went wrong:when logging to CR from Bot Runner or Bot Creator the Indicator of Bot Runner shows connection after 10-12 sec after loggin-in (previously it went to Log-In state immediately)when running a Task with Unattended Bot Runner it takes twice as much time that it used to : logging to the machine, downloading dependencies and such takes longer than used, Especialy the moment when one task calls sub-task sor returns from from sub-tasks.I need a clue how to test what is the reason for that issue and check what is causing such long undesigned delays,I would be grateful for Your input,greetings Michal

Issue with downloading CSV file in document automation

I'm currently working on document automation for invoice processing in enterprise edition. I've successfully completed the extraction step, but I'm encountering an issue when attempting to download a CSV file in the next step.The error message I'm receiving is: "DW_DOWNLOAD_FAILED - Bot deployment / download failed. Please check activity/audit logs for error details."I've verified that the file path is correct, and permissions seem to be set up properly. However, I'm still facing this issue consistently.Could anyone please provide insights or suggestions on what might be causing this error and how to troubleshoot it effectively?

I can do it in automation anywhere - Excel advanced/basic package with Loop orI can do it with keyboard commands.(simulate keystrokes)But i think it would be better and more time saving if i can do it with excel vba.How to do it in excel vba and using Vbscript package?

Excel Advanced is very slow on a particular VM

Hi everyone, I have noticed a strange problem with the Excel Advanced package.Usually reading an Excel File is quite fast with Automation Anywhere. I am using the Excel Advanced : get function.I have a virtual machine for the PROD environment and another one for the TEST environment. On the TEST environment, it is particularly slow, it takes roughly half a second to a full second to get the value of a single cell. However, on the PROD environment it is still very fast. I have no explanation for that.I have compared and the Automation Anywhere package versions are the same. The version of Excel is in both cases the same (Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2408 Build 16.0.17928.20114) 64-bit). Both have the same RAM amount, same CPU...The only difference is that I am connected to Excel through a Microsoft Account different for the PROD and TEST env (typically username-prod@contoso.com vs username-test@contoso.com )Has anyone ever faced the same problem ?

How do I pass list, dictionary or datetime type variables as input to the Deploy Bot API?

Hi, I'm trying to deploy bots with input parameters using Automation Anywhere API. I've successfully managed to pass string, number and boolean variables to the bot, but I can't seem to figure out what is the correct json syntax to pass dictionaries, list or datetime variables.
