Hi everyone,
I’m unable to connect Google tools in the custom workflow while using AI Automation Anywhere Agent Studio. I’ve tried configuring it, but the Google tools are not connecting as expected.

I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Please let me know if I’m missing any setup steps or permissions.

Thanks in advance for your help.

@siddheshsonawane07 First, which Google function are you trying to execute?

Second, is your connection active? In “Connection”, it should show “Select a connection - Reconnect”.

Third, did you try, under Generate Sample Data, the “Test Step” button?

Hi @Aaron.Gleason , thanks for the help.

Google function I’m trying to use: Append row in Google Sheets.

For the connection, I’m using my Google account. It is connected successfully, and I’ve provided correct values for all the required inputs.

I don’t see an option called “Generate Sample Data.”I’ve attached a screenshot, please let me know if anything looks incorrect or needs to be changed.

@siddheshsonawane07 I guess not all the functions have that. I was using a Google Docs function as a test. It created the doc and returned JSON containing the IDs to the document, etc.

Oooooooooh. I think I may have found your problem. The ai.automationanywhere.com site is very much in beta and is changing constantly. There is no longer an “Append Row” action. It is now “Insert Row”. If your older Workflow is still using this action, it’s probably calling something that doesn’t exist anymore.

Adding an “Insert Row” action into my Workflow DOES show a Generate Sample Data at the end.
