We want to use the AARI tool but we are not sure when you deploy the code to production will the end user need an unattended bot license or not? the end user will run this on their local devices. The AARI license will be allocated to the user.Please

End user should have only AARI license mapped, Unattended Bot licenses are required to the machine whether this bots are actually running. Hope this clarifies your questions.

Since you are new to this, I'd recommend connecting to your PEM or CSM for Licensing info.

AARI has currently two "flavors" that can be leveraged to deliver various use cases.

In a nutshell, the Web version delivers a "distributed" way of automating with AARI Users only requiring a web browser and bot execution happening in an unattended fashion on remote VDI/Server.

The Desktop version delivers a "localized" way of automating with AARI User (Attended User) requiring a bot agent in the desktop and bot execution happening in an attended fashion on the same desktop.

The two flavors are not exclusive and can be combined, they just deliver different variations of how automation can be delivered at scale.

We have plans in the roadmap to ease the combination of Web and Desktop, so stay tuned.
