Good morning,

I would like to use sharepoint package. I have asked IT department to register the application in Azure. I have client id, tenant id & client secret available. From the bot creator (dev machine) I can connect to the sharepoint thru the powershell.

However, when I want to test O auth connection I am getting “Need Admin Approval” ..when I run “Sharepoint Authenticate” command I get ‘Access Denied’ error . The IT department is saying it is because i am authenticating thru user id and not thru api only.

Is sharepoint package leveraging user id connection to sharepoint, please? Is there a need to have access rights to sharepoint for bot creator user id?

Thank you
