Hi Experts,

I'd like to know how BOT Metrics are determined in your environment in every way possible.

For instance, in the absence of BOT Insights, what methods do you use to track ROI, BOT failures, missing schedules, scheduling dashboards, etc.?

While I'm evaluating it, I wanted to comprehend alternative strategies.

Hi @ID55 ,

Except the ROI, all others can be tracked by using the Historical data by accessing Activity→ Historical option from the CR.

Plus, if you have the admin access, you can access the Schedule section by selecting Manage → Scheduled option in the CR.

Now coming to ROI, If I am not mistaken, BOT insight or CoE Manager will be the options.

I hope this will help.

Hi @ID55

I’d recommend to explore CoE Manager for your requirement,

Hi @ChanduMohammad

We are trying to build a Bot Metrics Dashboard to show transaction-level metrics. The report created using Bot Insight is not very useful. We have bot run reports that show the status for each record (Success/Business Exception/Tech Error). We are trying to build a dashboard using another BI tool with the bot report. However, I would like to know if you are aware of any built-in options available in A360.

I have gone through the Automation Anywhere documentation, https://docs.automationanywhere.com/bundle/enterprise-v2019/page/roi-tracking.html. but this also points to the Bot-Analyze package.

@Bijesh as mentioned above, if you want something that will show transaction-level metrics, and Bot Insight is not doing it for you, the next step would be CoE Manager. It is an additional cost, but an incredibly powerful tool for metrics, trend analysis and forecasting, and project lifecycle management.

Hi @Bijesh,
We have implemented a Bot Monitoring Dashboard RPA Bot for one of our customers to track the daily bot activities, success, failures, reruns, machine details, start time, end time, total time, error description (if failed), etc. by extracting the logs data that gets generated for each bot.

This data gets saved in an excel file which is then uploaded to a share point location which is used as a data source for our Power BI Dashboard which shows all these data in one single view of the dashboard.

For ROI, we manually calculate the metrics like Bot Performance (using No. of Bot Failures and No. of Bot Reruns metrics), Total Time Saved, and Total Cost Saved (based on the Total Time Saved metrics).

Hope this helps you get the overall idea for your query.

Cheers!
