Hello,

Can someone please help me with the answers for the below questions.

  1. How to speed up the procedure by optimizing the bot?

Hi @Mamatha 1214,

  1. How to speed up the procedure by optimizing the bot?
    • For Faster processing of data use WLM for data dependent use cases.
  2. Is it possible to run the bot in the backend or background, so that we may run multiple bots at a same time?
    • Multi-user devices, Device Pools

You can leverage various strategies depending on the use case, below are some:

Multi-user Device:
A multi-user device is any Windows terminal server device (Windows 2022, Windows 2019, Windows 2016, Windows 2012, Windows 10 Enterprise) which enables multiple users to concurrently log in to a
single device to run a bot.

The multi-user device server enables multiple users to access the same operating system and
share the hardware, performing the tasks for each user concurrently. In multi-user devices, bots
are deployed using RDP.

Device Pools:
Device pools are a logical grouping of devices or similar unattended Bot Runner machines on
which you can run your workload management automations or scheduled unattended
automations.

A multi-user device can be part of a device pool

Workload Management:
If your use case is more of data dependent and higher workload to be processed faster, you can consider Workload management - WLM.

Ensure that the bot agent device has sufficient hardware resources to support the workload of
additional users on a multi-user device.
Bot Agent device requirements: https://docs.automationanywhere.com/bundle/enterprisev2019/page/enterprise-cloud/topics/deployment-planning/cloud-requirements-operatingsystem-compatibility.html

Hope this helps!
