Welcome to Week 1 of APA Training Camp!
We’re excited to kick off this journey into the realm of what’s possible with Agentic Process Automation. During the next 4 weeks, you will gain the knowledge and skills to elevate your automation capabilities from RPA to APA, with week 1 focusing on Foundations and Framework.
Before Getting Started:
- Run ERIC to make sure you have the correct access rights in the Control Room. Before beginning training, test your Control Room login credentials that you received via email, and run ERIC on your machine to make sure you have the correct access rights to complete the training.
- Bookmark the Enterprise Control Room. Bookmark the Enterprise Control Room for quick access. You should have received your login credentials via email, however, if you just registered it typically takes 24 hours. The Control Room is where you’ll engage in all hands-on activities, and we highly encourage you to follow along as they build towards the final project.

Let’s Dive In!
This week you will focus on the concepts of Agentic Process Automation (APA) and its transformative potential. Our goal this week is to set the stage for where we’re going and help define terms and lay the foundation for APA implementation within your current program.
Step 1: Complete Your Week 1 Courses
In week 1 you will start with an introduction to APA and an enablement framework, before diving into implementation and technical foundations. These courses should take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.

Implications of connecting your bot agent to our control room:
Our control room is updated to version 36, meaning the bot agent version used to connect to our control room might conflict with the version required for your control room. Our bot agent is 22.140.22. If you do not have access to uninstall/reinstall bot agents manually, consider using a personal device to participate in training camp otherwise you might have trouble reconnecting to your control room.
Access issues with model connections:
Automation anywhere model connections deploy the connection configurations to your device to execute. If your organization has blocked access to large language models, you will have to use a personal device to participate.
Because of these concerns, we recommend participating on a personal device to maximize your experience with Agentic Process Automation Training Camp.
Complete each course in order and jot down any questions you have. Then, make sure to join the office hours if you can and have your questions answered (see Step 3 below for office hour links).
Step 2: Use the Discussion Guide to Plan Your Team's APA Journey
Schedule time with your automation team to complete the downloadable Week 1 Team Discussion Guide and Week 1 Activity. These activities facilitate collaborative discussions around APA capabilities and evaluations for your current programs and help you pinpoint the next steps in incorporating agentic process automations.
Step 3: Join Office Hours to Get Support and Ask Questions
Join the office hours that work best for your schedule, but please note these are NOT mandatory and simply designed to hep you get the most from the training experience. Joining will give you access to our experts so you can ask specific questions and receive tailored guidance that addresses your unique challenges.

Step 4: Join Our LIVE Coaching Session
Mark your calendars for this week’s LIVE coaching session scheduled on Thursday, April 10th at 10:30am EDT / 8:00pm IST. If this time doesn’t work for you, don’t worry, it is not mandatory to attend and will be immediately available for replay.
