You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers! It’s time for this week’s APA Training Camp Office Hour question roundup!

As you complete each week’s content remember that it’s natural to have questions — and lots of them! That’s why we decided to host multiple options for Office Hour sessions so we could support you and maximize your learning. We know that if you’re wondering about something, chances are someone else is too. So, we’ve gathered this week’s questions from our Office Hours to help you navigate the training sessions with ease. This recap is designed to clear up confusion and keep you on track as you explore the world of Agentic Process Automation. Let’s dive in!

Next Steps After Completing the Courses

Q: What are the next steps after completing the courses?
A: Schedule time with your automation team to complete the downloadable Week 1 Team Discussion Guide and Week 1 Activity. These activities facilitate collaborative discussions around APA capabilities and evaluations for your current programs and help you pinpoint the next steps in incorporating agentic process automations.

LinkedIn Live Coaching

Q: When is the next LinkedIn Live coaching session?
A: The LIVE coaching session is scheduled for Thursday, April 10th at 10:30 am EDT / 8:00 pm IST. 1 If this time doesn’t work for you, it is not mandatory to attend and will be available for replay.

Credentials and Access

Q: I haven't received the credentials for the control room. What should I do?
A: You can DM us in the community or send an email to community@automationanywhere.com, and the team will check that for you. Remember, if you registered for the Automation Leader trail, you will not receive control room credentials because they are not needed.

Q: From where can I find the credentials for CR?
A: Credentials for the control room are emailed with subject line “Your credentials for Agentic Process Automation Training Camp”

Q: How long will the CR credentials be valid?
A: The credentials will be valid for two weeks after the program ends.

Model Connections and Usage

Q: Will we have access to create model connections in the control room?
A: No, access to create model connections will not be provided. Participants can use the existing setup with the provided credentials.

Q: Are there restrictions on using existing models, and is there a limit on placing multiple records?
A: Yes, there are limits, and you should only use the model connections provided for training purposes.

Q: Can we use other models for comparison during the training?
A: Access to other models is restricted in the control room, but participants can try it out in their own control room if they have access.

Video Access and Recordings

Q: Can we get recordings of the live classes?
A: Pre-recorded videos are available on the University portal. This training program is asynchronous aside from the Office Hours and Live Coaching Sessions on LinkedIn.

Q: Will the videos be available after the sessions?
A: Yes, the videos will remain available on the University portal indefinitely, however, you will not have access to the control room once training camp wraps up (access will expire 2 weeks post training camp).

Q: I am not able to see the video link.
A: If you are having issues with video links, the Pathfinder Community Team can assist with providing the necessary links. Please send us an email at community@automationanywhere.com

Q: Please share the developer track videos link.
A: The links to the both tracks will be shared weekly in the APA Training Camp group forum Game Plan post.

Certification and Assessment

Q: Is there a certification available for completing the program?
A: There will be an assessment at the end of the program, and participants who complete it will receive a certificate of completion.

Q: Is there a certification available for APA, similar to the one we have for A360?
A: Both tracks will have an assessment at the end of the fourth week, and upon completion, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Training Content and Resources

Q: Where can I find the coaching videos?
A: Training videos will be linked to the game plan each week. The Live Coaching session videos will livestream on both LinkedIn and Youtube. In the weekly game plan we will share links to register for those events. Can’t make it? We will share the recording in the following week’s game plan post.

Q: Once I completed week 1 courses what do I need to do?
A: After completing week 1 courses, participants can engage in discussions in the community and review the weekly activities provided.

Q: Will there be a detailed course on enterprise knowledge and how it works?
A: While there isn't a deep dive in this training, there are resources available on the university portal regarding enterprise knowledge.

Technical Questions and Issues

Q: While running ERIC, I am getting errors. What should I do?
A: Ensure the browser extension is enabled; if not, it may cause issues while running ERIC.

Q: Is enabling the browser extension mandatory?
A: Yes, the browser extension must be enabled for proper functionality during the training. 1.26

Q: I have tried co-pilot, but it is not able to modify the bot as per our requirement.
A: For issues with co-pilot at your organization, you should connect with your account admin for assistance. Any use of Co-Pilot within training will happen based on the design processes.

APA and RPA Integration

Q: Will RPA be transforming into APA? If my clients' processes are running on RPA, can they apply APA to their already running bots in production?
A: APA is an evolution of RPA. You can start by adding AI capabilities to enhance existing RPA bots and grow to using RPA bots as tools for Agentic Process Automation.

Data Management and Privacy

Q: Can an Enterprise knowledge AI agent store data to learn for future interactions?
A: Yes, there is an option to cache results for subsequent runs, utilizing enterprise knowledge to store and retrieve that data as context.

Q: If my client asks that their data is getting stored somewhere, can I say it depends on the choice of the developer?
A: The storage of data will depend on how the agent is designed and implemented, including enterprise knowledge considerations. Enterprise Knowledge can store data on-prem for additional security.

Q: Will my data, prompt, or responses always have to leave my organization to be used with large language models? How do I keep my data safe?
A: Unless you fine-tune and host your own large language model, you will need to work integrated with a model provider like AWS, Azure, or others. There are options that put you in private tenants where they do not store your data or use it to train models. See the “Exploring Technologies that Power APA” video.

Organizational Challenges

Q: What challenges do organizations face when scaling AI?
A: Governance and defining use cases are key challenges, as well as managing the variability in AI responses. The APA Enablement Framework and most videos that follow deal with solving this exact problem.

Licenses and Fees

Q: Are there additional licenses needed to utilize APA features?
A: Yes, to use APA features, you will require an enterprise platform license, which includes all necessary capabilities.

Miscellaneous

Q: Will there be a fallback mechanism for HITL queries highlighted at the end of the training video?
A: Human-in-the-loop serves as a fallback mechanism, allowing human control for specific steps in the process. Review the course on Human-in-the-Loop design to see how it can be technically implemented.

Q: My organization has blocked the use of GenAI on their network, but Automation Anywhere can be accessed. Can we access other GenAI models? Are there any restrictions applied during the Control Room setup?
A: Access to other GenAI models may be restricted; you should check with your account manager for specific firewall and network configurations. If you are unable to participate in the training camp using your work computer, consider using a personal device.

Hi Team,

During the execution of the automated task, I encountered a runtime error and the status is showing as "Failed".

The error message is as follows:

"There was a problem at line 2. This may be due to the following reason: Unable to log the text to the file because the file path is not found.
Verify the file path 'C:\Users\ASUS\Downloads\Assets\JScripts\Classification\Classification.js' and try again."
Location: Classification Input (line 2)

To proceed, the bot needs to be edited to fix the file path error. I’ve attached a screenshot for your reference.

Please let me know if anyone has suggestions or if further assistance is required to resolve this.

Note:

I have noticed that there is no Java Script File in the folder “Classification” under Assets folder hierarchy.

C:\Users\ASUS\Downloads\extracthereindownloads_automationanywhere\Assets\JScripts\Classification

Best regards,

Sai

It is dynamically created on execution of the task bot that writes to that screen.

Extract/unzip to downloads folder and not in Downloads\extracthereindownloads_automationanywhere\ folder

Hi Team,

I’m pleased to inform you that I was able to successfully execute the automated task.

As mentioned, the screen was dynamically created during the execution of the Task Bot that writes to it, and everything ran as expected.

Thanks for your support!

Best regards,
Sai Kumar
