Question

Hi, Sort command in Excel Adv Package is not working. It is throwing error as "Unable to sort table" but same code was working few days before. I have restarted bot agent but still getting same error. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Hi @Poonam Pandire ,

Can you downgrade Excel Adv package and try again?

Hi @Poonam Pandire ,

Could you double-check if the Table Name is accurate?

Its hard to pinpoint what the exact issue could be, but chances are it has something to do with the Excel Data itself.

Kind Regards,

Ashwin A.K

Hi @Poonam Pandire ,

Could you validate whether the Excel Table contains data?

If the data is accurate, then could you try downgrading the Excel Advanced Package and see if that works out for you?

Kind Regards,

Ashwin A.K

Check for the table name again or try creating a new table with the same data and save the excel.

Enter the same table name to Sort command and try again.

Try creating a new Excel document. Add some data and convert it to a table. Try to make a simple automation that opens the file and sorts the data. If that works, the problem is likely with the Excel document itself. See if someone locked cells, renamed the table, etc. This could be even more problematic if the data source of the table was an external source, such as a database.

If that doesn’t work, we need to figure out what changed. The next possible test would be to roll back your Excel package and see if a previous version worked whereas the version you are using did not.

For further troubleshooting, please include a screen shot of as much of your automation as you can, along with the data in your Excel document. I realize you may not be able to show everything, but we need more to troubleshoot than just the error message.
