The size of the global cache is increasing

What happens if we delete the old data (ex-last year data, last month data) from the global cache folder.

Our server space is being impacted by the global cache folder that consumes a lot of space and keeps growing

    Can you please elaborate on the context here?

     

    Ideally it should not impact anything. You will get some free space and might have to re-enter saved password that might be possibility here.

    global cache folder that consumes a lot of space and keeps growing and every time we have to extends our drive so client is asking what happen if we delete the files from global cache will they impact our production environment
