Hi team,

I’m facing issue with the CR . i tried running eric but after entering details it get stuck . i also tried running message box to check if bot runs. i have attached screenshot where it got stuck. Any help could be crucial to resolve this. i also re installed bot agent. status of device shows connected.

Issue seems like bot is not getting deployed on the machine.

Kindly follow the below steps and see if it can help you.

1. AA extension is installed and enabled on Chrome or what ever browser you are using.

2. Restart the AA service.

3. Check is the device connected to control room.

Run the bot again.

hi Sachin,
yes all the above steps are checked still issue persist

This looks like maximum users are running bots on this CR, we faced similar issue during recent pathfinder summit.

@Mandar12 can you share a screenshot of your device details? Like I’ve done below (but ignore my setup - I’m connecting to a remote device):

You may also need to go into your settings in the Control Room and enter the credentials for your machine:

I also suggest uninstalling the Bot Agent and follow the installation steps again which are provided by trying to connect your device as per my first screenshot.

Hi @Oli.Morris , please check

Hi @Mandar12,

run ERIC copy or just a task bot with a message box and check the logs.

You can review the system log information on your device at the following locations:

  • If the Bot Agent was installed by an administrator:

    C:\ProgramData\AutomationAnywhere\BotRunner\Logs

  • If the Bot Agent was installed by local user or non-admin user:

    %userprofile%\AppData\Local\AutomationAnywhere\BotRunner\Logs

hi @Oli.Morris @Marc Mueller , Attaching screenshot during eric run

Hi @Mandar12,

have you tried a new task bot with just a message box action?

hi @Marc Mueller yes i did.

and what is in the logs?

Hi guys!

I’ve connected with @Mandar12 regarding the ongoing issue, but unfortunately, the problem still persists.

All device connections have been verified, and Mandar even created a new Task Bot to test the setup. However, the screen continues to show “Notifying to device” for an extended period, and no task appears under the “In Progress” section, it ultimately fails. He also tested the ERIC but same issue for that.

He has also attempted multiple re-installations of the Automation Anywhere Bot Agent, but the issue remains unresolved.

Would it be possible for one of you to kindly connect with him directly? A fresh set of eyes might help identify what’s being overlooked. He’s in urgent need of support at this point.

@Mandar12,

could you quickly check this please?

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type "cmd" and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
  3. Type "echo %USERDOMAIN%" and press Enter. This will display your domain name.
  4. Type "echo %USERNAME%" and press Enter. This will display your username.

Cheers

Marc

@Mandar12 - I’d advise speaking to your IT team internally. It could be a corporate firewall or proxy server that’s causing this. There’s clearly communication with your device because you’re seeing the Bot Running window. When we’ve seen issues like this before it’s because of restrictions imposed by IT impacting the connection. If you’re running this on a personal device, I’d advise checking for any services which could be doing something similar.

hi @Oli.Morris , I’m currently using it on personal laptop
