Move the "Global Cache Location" to another drive

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Anyone know how to move the C:\ProgramData\AutomationAnywhere\GlobalCache\ folder to another drive?

It is “Greyed-Out” and un-editable in the Control Room Device Setting.

I would prefer not to use a symlink.

Control Room Setting:

I can see the setting is the Control Room > Devices > {device} > Advanced Options

Server Config Setting:

C:\Program Files\Automation Anywhere\Bot Agent\config\nodemanager.properties

device.advanced.settings=”… setting ...” (this is pointing to the current GlobalCache folder)

I have tried stopping the “Automation Anywhere Bot Agent” Services and disabling the Chrome extension, but it is still “Greyed-Out” and un-editable in the Control Room

Hi @Kevin 1874

Using an admin user to change the Control-Room configuration in Settings→ Devices→ (scroll down ) Advanced options and check the option as below

it will enable  to perform changes to every device.

Then, go to your device and edit it in Advanced options. Click on Use custom settings and modify the path for Global Cache Location
