  • His favorite TV show is Peaky Blinders.
  • His most adventurous endeavor to-date was growing an automation consultancy in Spain. (Talk about grit!)

Expertise / Specializations

José is a true visionary in the field of automation. He shared with us his thoughts on how automation is changing the way we work and how the combination of automation and generative AI positively impacts that new workflow. He believes organizations need to embrace these technologies—having confidence in what automation can achieve will only open the door to new innovations.

If José had one piece of advice for someone new to automation it would be:

“Listen to different uses of automation and keep an open mind. Leverage what’s been done in the past at your organization, for example, maybe with Excel files, and observe those solutions through an automation toolset and mindset.”

José in the Community

As a member of the Automation Anywhere community and MVP group, José has enjoyed driving meaningful change with his automation peers. He’s found that his fellow MVPs are an invaluable collective of support and inspiration. He’s been able to lean on his comrades for advice in several areas, like how to grow an internal community and how to apply automation in different areas.

What’s Next for José

As his team enters a new fiscal year at Ricoh, José’s focus is continuing to scale the automation program and promoting its resources, benefits, and impressive metrics across the entire organization.

Thank you, José, for letting us all get to know you better. And thank you for your continued contributions to our Pathfinder Community!
