You’ve seen them quite often around the Pathfinder-verse, heard them speak at events or virtual meetings, maybe even dialogued with them in a forum thread—they’re our Most Valuable Pathfinders! They are the spark keeping the Pathfinder Community ablaze, so it was about time we took a beat to really get to know each one of our MVPs better and share their unique stories with you!
So without further ado, let’s get to know…
Jermani Martin
The Basics
- Years of Automation Experience: 3-4 years
- Current Company: Asure Software
- Official Title: Director of Automation
But this is how Jermani would actually describe what he does: I organize people, assist them in breaking down processes, and give them the tools they need to be successful.
- Biggest Professional Achievement to date: Jermani embedded automated processes in a legacy application that previously had no outside connection for customers. As a result, his organization was able to offer automations to customers, as well as some internal teams, on the legacy application using Automation Anywhere and building through the UI.
Five Fun Facts
- His birthday is October 1.
- If he could have any superpower, he’d want to fly.
- A big movie fan, his favorite movies at the moment are the John Wick series.
- He’d like to push himself outside his comfort zone and go skydiving.
- If he could travel anywhere, he’d like to visit New Zealand.
Expertise / Specializations
Jermani shines in a business analyst role. He prioritizes meeting with clients and internal users to translate a process and the end user’s needs into a unified automation action plan and formulate an effective long-term solution.
Jermani is eager to harness the power of Document Automation. He sees opportunities to further automate and put existing resources to work using this innovative tool. He and his team are also looking into embedding generative AI into a few use cases, one of which involves client responses and the ability to offer a human response in a way that will not impact the level of customer service but allow team members to serve customers better.
If Jermani had one piece of advice for someone new to automation it would be:
“Don’t put up barriers for automation. Embrace the opportunity to explore all possibilities of automation. Liberate any preconceived notions of what you can do with automation because the limit does not exist as to what you can do with it.”
Jermani in the Community
As a newly minted Automation Anywhere MVP, Jermani is excited about the new partner relationships he will create, the exposure he’ll have to new tools, and the insight he’ll gain into innovative use cases. He also loves to spend time on the Automation Anywhere Community Page where he connects with and learns from industry peers.
What’s Next for Jermani
Jermani is in growth mode! He’s working hard to grow his automation team and, in doing so, endeavoring to offer automation to end customers. He admits this won’t necessarily help his organization’s bottom line, but it will offer a way to connect their products to their customers more smoothly.
Thank you, Jermani, for letting us all get to know you better. And thank you for your continued contributions to our Pathfinder Community!
