You’ve seen them quite often around the Pathfinder-verse, heard them speak at events or virtual meetings, maybe even dialogued with them in a forum thread—they’re our Most Valuable Pathfinders! They are the spark keeping the Pathfinder Community ablaze, so it was about time we took a beat to really get to know each one of our MVPs better and share their unique stories with you!

Chandu Mohammad S

But this is how Chandu would actually describe what he does: I help businesses automate tasks and processes using RPA, freeing up employees’ time to focus on strategic work rather than tedious tasks.
- Biggest Professional Achievement to date: In 2020, Chandu received a prestigious High Performance award for developing a high-complexity mortgage use case in an unprecedented quick turnaround. He also recently got a shout-out from the Automation Anywhere Product Team during a monthly Product Club meeting for giving invaluable beta testing feedback on the forthcoming Generative Recorder, which influenced the final product's capabilities—a surreal "pinch me" moment!
Five Fun Facts
- If he could have any superpower, he’d want telekinesis. (He’d always be able to find the TV remote!)
- His favorite movies are the Batman films.
- Rather than share his birthday, he says every day is a chance to celebrate your life. (We love that philosophy!)
- The next place he’d like to travel is Italy to experience its culture, architecture and opera.
- If he could do something adventurous, he’d like to scuba dive in the coral reefs off the Andaman islands.
Expertise / Specializations
Chandu is a highly skilled developer who is never finished learning new techniques and technologies to elevate his craft. He leverages Document Automation and APIs in his daily work and plans to explore potential use cases for generative AI in his embedded automations. Besides constantly honing his technical chops, Chandu hopes to develop his project management and leadership skills further in order to cultivate a well-rounded business acumen.
If Chandu had one piece of advice for someone new to automation it would be:
“Start with Automation Anywhere University courses to get a foundational understanding. Then, start small by focusing on simple use cases where you can easily understand the process from end to end. Once you gain experience in that area, gradually move onto more complex use cases.”

Chandu is passionate about staying active across a spectrum of networking hubs in the automation community. One could say it’s his way of giving back to his peers. You can find Chandu answering questions in the Pathfinder Community forums and automation groups on Linkedin, Slack, and Discord, writing technical blogs, and organizing and speaking at developer meetups, including the Automation Anywhere developer meetups! But that’s not all—Chandu also trains developers on various capabilities like Document Automation, APIs, and Automation Co-Pilot.
What’s Next for Chandu
While generative AI is at the top of his “to do” list, Chandu is also focused on diving deeper into APIs and the different flavors of authorizations they have, as well as different integration services. He’s always raising the bar, and we can’t wait to hear about what he accomplishes next!
