True Parallel Automation - Split and Merge in Mozart Orchestrator (US)

We’ll start with a quick overview of Mozart Orchestrator, then dive deep into the Split and Merge feature—available exclusively as part of the Enterprise SKU. This capability allows developers to model real-world business processes more accurately by running multiple tasks concurrently within a single process, instead of forcing inherently parallel logic into sequential designs.

With Split, developers can create multiple parallel branches that execute independent tasks at the same time. With Merge, those branches can be brought back together into a unified flow, making it easier to orchestrate scenarios like parallel approvals, concurrent document processing, or multi-system calls. The result is faster execution, cleaner design, and significantly improved maintainability.

This session will also cover important licensing and governance considerations. Split and Merge is enabled only for Enterprise customers and is disabled by default for Community and Base licenses. If an Enterprise license is downgraded or terminated, affected processes will no longer be editable, and existing parallel paths will execute sequentially, ensuring enterprise-grade control and compliance.
