Good Morning!

I’m going through the AA university training videos and trying to learn document processing. I created a learning instance and uploaded the sample invoices provided. It’s been 10 mins, the 1st invoice still shows in progress.

My question is - Does it actually take this much time while processing in production or it’s taking more time since it’s the first time I’m triggering the learning instance?
Should I keep my device on until it’s completed? I observed in the training, there was a small pop-up as “Bot Running” from the device, so I believe it needs the device to process?

Okay! in the in progress section, it say’s trying to connect my device.

My connection to the device is green in the left menu and I also verified before hand with the task bot that the device is working. is there any service I need to restart?

@ManojYadav You could be seeing a large package download, which could cause lengthy delays on a slower Internet connection. Fortunately, once the packages are downloaded, the delays from that point should be minimal. That being said, LLMs can take quite some time to process each step, too.

What you may be seeing in the screen shot above is a stalled device that needs resetting. You can try using https://developer.automationanywhere.com/deletedevice.php to reset your device. You can also try running a simple “Hello world” message box task bot to verify that your Bot Agent is connected and working.

@Aaron.Gleason I can see that the packages are already downloaded, it’s just waiting for device to connect. I deleted the instance and created one more, before uploading the files, I ran a simple bot to make sure it’s working (It is) but still the instance is stuck in acquiring the device. I even clicked on AA agent, which resets the connection to the device and control room. The current pdf fails and the next one in queue goes to in progress, then again, the same issue repeats. I can’t seem to make it run in my device.

@ManojYadav Check for anti-virus or firewall software that could be interfering with your Bot Agent’s connectivity. It communicates over port 443 so it’s unlikely to be filtered at the port level, though your IT department (or the above-mentioned software) could be filtering the DNS entry.
