If you are trying to close Excel Windows, I would suggest using the Excel Advanced: Close Action, as it locates the Excel Window on the basis of the Session Variable.

That way, if you have multiple Excel Windows open, and only wish to close one, this can come in handy.

But if you were trying to close All instances of Excel, such as when you are cleaning up, it would make sense to use the Application: Open Program/File Action and pass in Taskkill like so:
