Just curious if anyone follows the Variable Naming conventions here on AA’s website? https://docs.automationanywhere.com/bundle/enterprise-v2019/page/enterprise-cloud/topics/aae-client/bot-creator/using-variables/cloud-user-local-variables.html#d381867e235

I know it is only a Recommendation but considering it comes from AA, I find it odd that none of the AA Training Videos I’ve seen so far, use this naming convention?

@Rachel101886 you’re right to notice the discrepancy; it used to be  <type/scope indicator><data type><Variable name> format, but over time, to make it simpler for a broad set of users, we’ve moved towards <data type><Variable name> in our newer training material. That said, you’re welcome to use any naming convention as long as it is consistent and aligns with your organisation’s needs.

Here’s a university course that offers another example: https://upskill.automationanywhere.com/learn/video/getting-started-with-variables.

I would also love to know what naming convention other community members follow!
