I can’t run task bots on my local machine because my device username contains an invalid character (ó).

In the past, I was able to run them normally by using ‘o’ instead of ‘ó’, but this solution no longer works.

I also can’t change the device username because it’s a corporate device, and I don’t have permission to make changes.

Does anyone know a solution for this problem?

@matheus.diogenes Hmmm. That's a difficult one.

A couple of workarounds come to mind:

1. Spin up a virtual machine or connect to one for development and testing.

2. Create a local user and/or use your local user's account. You may not have the access to do this.

3. The best solution is to have IT rename your computer in Active Directory.

Since you're far from the only person with ó in your name, I might start a trouble ticket with support about this issue. Send an email to support@automationanywhere.com to start the process.
