Hi Team,

Good day!!

I am trying to run the bot using the community edition of automation anywhere but it is failing with the below message.

I tried to resolve the issue with the help of the links

https://apeople.automationanywhere.com/s/article/A2019-Unable-to-run-bot-with-error?_fsi=OmAIEPnE&_gl=1*1eobi98*_gcl_au*NzEyNzIzNTQ1LjE3Mzc2MjQ0MzQ.*_ga*NTUzMzIxNzA2LjE3Mzc2MjQ0MzQ.*_ga_DG1BTLENXK*MTczNzYyNDQzNC4xLjEuMTczNzYyODQzOC4yNi4wLjk3MjUwNjY3&language=en_US

after trying few of the solutions it didn't work out as expected. Kindly let me know how to resolve the issue

Try this page that I made to reset and remove the device, then re-add it:

https://developer.automationanywhere.com/deletedevice.php

Let me know if that doesn’t work for you.

Hi @Aaron.Gleason ,

I tried to resolve the issue with the help of above link, but it didn't work as expected. I have additionally rebooted my local machine as well, even then it didn't work as expected.

Thanks

Kamaraj

The next steps are to clean out your system a bit:

  1. Uninstall your Bot Agent.
  2. Remove the contents of C:\ProgramData\AutomationAnywhere (this is a hidden folder)
  3. Reinstall your Bot Agent and connect it to the control room.

You may also wish to make sure you don’t have firewall or anti-virus software that is interfering.
