Unable to install Bot Agent on Macbook (Error: 22.240.44)

Hi Community,

I seem to be unable to install the Control Room Bot Agent on my Macbook.

Error Message: Automation Anywhere Bot-Agent -22.240.44 can’t be installed on this computer.

Macbook Specs:

-Macbook Pro (Early 2016)

-Memory: 8GB

-Processor: 2.9 Ghz

-macOS Monterey

Please could you advise if it is possible?

I logged into the control room for the pathfinder training using Chrome and clicked ‘Connect to local device’ to download the package that gave the error above.

​@LaurentK The system requirements for Macs are that they must have Apple Silicon CPUs. Intel-based Macs, like yours, unfortunately, are not supported.

Due to the age and amount of RAM on that computer, you’re not going to have enough RAM to decently run a Windows VM on the Mac, either.
