I am trying to connect my personal device to a new/different Control Room for a new client.  My device was previously connected to Community control room. So before I connected to new Control room, completed the following steps per various articles/posts reviewed;

I deleted my device from Community Device manager, uninstalled the bot agent, stopped Automation Anywhere service and removed Automation Anywhere files/folders from the following paths to clear all remnants of the Community install:

C:\Program Files\Automation Anywhere
C:\ProgramData\AutomationAnywhere
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\AA
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\AutomationAnywhere
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\AutomationAnywhere

Also deleted all possible content from:
C:Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp

Then Rebooted after all the above before reconnecting device to new Control Room.

I click ‘Connect Local device’ to start the process. The install exe downloads and wizard window opens. I run the install exe as administrator, choose ‘Only for me’ option, and it does install the bot agent and chrome extension, however instead of the wizard window updating those steps with green success, nothing happens, the wizard doesn’t update or move to next step. The device does not appear in Device Manager. My only option is to click Cancel on the wizard.

I repeated all the above and tried ‘System level’ option instead and get same result.

I then repeated all the above for Community edition again and it works fine. The wizard updates and completes the process -

Appreciate any insight why it won’t complete as expected with the new Control room. My colleague has been able to connect his personal device to the new client control room just fine and he did not have any prior Community edition connections.
