Hi everyone,

I have tried to create a folder in Google Drive using the Google Drive package and got the error  "File couldn't be 'created' as '****' doesn't exist in 'My Drive'. Please use ID in case file/folder is on shared drive. Please check for typo and try again." Does that mean it is possible to create folder in a shared drive?

Meanwhile the documentation states that it is not possible: https://docs.automationanywhere.com/bundle/enterprise-v2019/page/enterprise-cloud/topics/aae-client/bot-creator/commands/google-drive-create-folder.html

Which one is true?

Moreover, does that imply it is possible to specify the Parent folder ID instead of the Parent folder name?

Moreover, why is the latest package 2.20 failing while the package 2.02 from 2021 working correctly?

@Augustin

Folder Path Resolution Changed

Older versions were often more forgiving with folder paths. In 2.20, the package may require the exact folder hierarchy.

For example:

Works in 2.02

Reports\2026

May require in 2.20

My Drive/Reports/2026

or the actual Google Drive Folder ID.
