My email trigger is not working. I am using Gmail.

I have already check all the condition like inbox 

I am using my gmail password in password section.

not able to see enable the less secure app option as it is disabled my google.

Kindly help.

@Priyanka.H2 : You should be able to see less secure in gmail settings. From code you are doing correct . Make sure the less secure is working

Hi @Priyanka.H2 ,

 

  • After that Go to App Password : 

  • Select as Other and then Type AA and then click on Generate.

  • After that you will see a window of App Password Generated. Save it in a text file as once you close that window you won’t be able to see it again. 

  • Set the App password in the Email password section and test it.

Hi,

 

My Gmail ID is origination  ID means it end with XXXXX.comapanyname.in

Please let me know which host ID should I use.

Also when we trigger the email trigger that mail ID should be open on server?

Hi,

 

For that you need to check with your IT / Network team for IMAP Server details for Gmail ID. Also your email ID need not to be open on server when you trigger the email

But, the email trigger flow does not function when I use my personal email address to check it without login.

Only trigger is operational if I log in using my gmail ID.

It shouldn’t do that, You Run the BOT using Run with triggers right?

As far as I know you don’t have to keep the email open in order for your trigger to work.
