Hi,

to use the Ms Word package, is it necessary that Microsoft Word is installed on the device?

Thanks,

Corrado

For: https://botstore.automationanywhere.com/bot/a2019-microsoft-word-package Word installation is not required, but this package has limitations.

  • It does not replace text within tables
  • It adds new blank line at the last page after each replacement

Try this package, word installation not necessary:

Hi @CorraCastel,

Not sure because of this…

Have you give it a try?

Hi @Marc 1985 ,

isn't there a package to use Word without having it installed on the device as Excel Basic?

Thanks,

@CorraCastel not that I am aware of…

But not used Word very often in my automations.

Let's wait for someone who have more experience on that.

Team,

Let’s say if I want to replace text within tables, and not use keystrokes, what is the best way to go about this?
