No sure about the use case you are working on.

May this will help you.

In the AARI BOT I have a variable "sUpdatedBy" (input variable)

Input value to this variable be like this

• Select "Task" (form element task name) in variable source
• Choose "Meta" as variable type
• Select "Assigned To - DICTIONARY" as variable
• Choose Dictionary Key ,there are three options
  • User name
  • User email
  • User Id

Works for me
