Hello,

I am having an issue where I am unable to export a learning instance from the control room. When I click the “export” button, I get a notification saying that I will be alerted when the export is completed, however I never get the notification.
 

I get no email or notification and I have no way, that I know of, to check on the export status. I have tried this with at least 3 learning instances, one of which I created myself, and gotten the same result each time.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

@Uzumaki There are many reasons for this. Rather than trying to troubleshoot the issue, the easiest solution is to go to Activity > Historical. You should see your exports there. If you skip the “include packages” (recommended most of the time, by the way), the export should show up almost instantly in Activity > Historical.

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, I don’t see my exports in the historical page. I see exports that other users have done, but it looks like mine simply aren’t exporting. Is there a specific role required possibly?


@Uzumaki That would make sense. Have your administrator make sure you have Export permissions for the appropriate Public folders. They may have either forgotten to add that or only allow you to have Export permissions on certain Public folders. 


Figured out the issue. Exported learning instances go to the notification bell at the bottom of the screen. Lol good to know.
