External component has thrown an exception - Connect Excel as Database

Hello Team,

 

We are facing issue on Production Bot Runners for using Excel as Database command.

 

Getting below mentioned error :

 

ErrorLineNumber="xxxx" ErrorDescription="External component has thrown an exception."

 

All the five Production Bot Runner got hang and we need to restart it manually and it is working than.

 

We need to know why all of the sudden we face this issue.

We have been suggested we should use "microsoft ace oledb 12.0" , after updating same we still face issuse again after sometime.

 

Please provide urgent support as this Bots are running on SLA.

@Jay Solanki​  - Based on the error message and issue with excel as database. Refer the below KB article steps for the resolution.Automation Anywhere Enterprise database command is not able to connect with 64-Bit data provider as it is only compatible with 32-bit data provider.
