I am trying to connect excel as database, but i am facing this issue frequently. my laptop bit is 64, i am also tried installing both 32,64 bit.
Even based on other forum suggestion i tried updating  the  Database package in Automation anywhere.Still the issue persists

Attached is the below error issue and screenshot
Could not Connect to Database. Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.

 

Kindly assist on this , its affecting our productivity.

I tried installing by this link, but still i am facing the same issue.


This is 3 months old, but in case it helps…

The version of office is important. Particularly if you are running Office 365. 

Search on “<your office version> ODBC driver” to get all kinds of discussions and links on the topic.

I happen to have Office 365, which theoretically does not require the Access DB ODBC connectors (installing them didn’t help.) I ended up having to uninstall Office 365 and the Automation Anywhere Bot Agent, then installing them again in the same order in order to get the connection to work.
