Error When Running Bot from Within Task Editor

Hello,

Over the past few months to half a year, our development team has encountered an issue when trying to run bots from within the task editor. Screenshot:

Context: this error only occurs after the developer has cancelled a bot before it completes naturally.

The only way to fix this issue is seemingly to delete all browser data (thus erasing SSO and other crucial browser presets).

Anyone else run into this? Is there anything that can be done without impacting workflow? This is a pretty big quality of life issue. Developer has to stop everything, reset browser, then log back in to everything. During the testing phase of development, this error happens very frequently.

Try this tool that I built. You may be able to get away with just the reset option:

Thank you @Aaron.Gleason, I’ll give this a go.

The page says community edition - is this intended for enterprise control rooms as well?

Yes. It works on cloud-based CRs and on-prem with just username/password authentication. SSO with on-prem is not supported, but if you are using such a setup, contact me directly via email and I can share the same techniques for that. I’ll take out “community edition” from the page now.  😅

We have the similar issue on Onprem.  As a temp fix we open task manager and restart bot agent.
