The bot runs fine all throughout but once a month or so I get the follow error in Email-Check if folder exists action.

error - Illegal parameters to method 'execute'. Please contact your system administrator.

As a solution I need to restart Outlook and the system and re-trigger the bot.

Can someone please let me know why this is occurring and how can we avoid it?

@Rachel.G

Try the following:

  • Make sure the user is using the Latest email package.
  • Stop the Automation anywhere Bot agent service.
  • Rename the GlobalCache folder.
  • Start the Automation anywhere Bot agent service.
  • Kill the Outlook action from the task manager where Outlook application is hanged.
  • Restart the machine and try again with the bot.
