Trying to stop a task running because it is giving an error: UNKNOWN: User: (username) is already running a bot on device: (device). The task in Activity>In Progress does not respond to pause or stop actions. How can I stop this task so I can continue to develop? This is a hard stop for customer development.

Could you head over to Services and try restarting the Automation Anywhere Bot Agent Service and see if that resolves the issue?

That did work. Stopping services stopped the bot. Thank you
Hi I’m having the same issue, but the service is not displaying in Services for me. Any other steps to try? This is also a hard stop causing an issue.

IF you didn’t found in services, so reinstall the bot agent properly just uninstall from Install/Uninstall Program from C:\ drive.
Bot agent is shown in your services, I had faced the same issue related to this and i did the same.
