I made a HelloWorld bot in the dashboard. When I go to run the bot, it tells me to install the Bot Agent and the browser extension on my machine. So that’s fine; I do that.

And then nothing happens. If I try to run the bot again, it just tells me to install the Bot Agent again, even though I already have. If I click the “Connect local device” button, it just tells me to install the Bot Agent again.

@AugustZellmer Interestingly, someone with a very similar name seems to have had the same problem:

For some reason this was solved by changing the chrome://flags and  Local Network Access Checks to Disable, then restart the service…

Change from Default to Disabled

@AugustZellmer Make sure the Automation Anywhere extension is active. You can also try disabling and then re-enabling it if already installed.

The Control Room can’t tell if the Bot Agent is installed unless that extension is installed and enabled.

Okay, I’ve double-checked that the extension is enabled.

But I’m still just stuck on this same screen.
