Hello,

Can I run two bots at once on different devices using the same control room credentials?

I have a single control room user account and I am using a workload management system for bot A to trigger bot B. I have two PCs and I want bot A to run on my first PC and bot B to run on my second PC, but I need both PCs to be signed in to the control room with the same login credentials.

Is this possible to do or will I need a second control room user to run the second bot on the second device?

Thank you

Did u explore device pool concept?

Hi @Uzumaki ,

You can log in to the Automation Anywhere Control Room with the same user account on multiple devices. This means you can have both PCs signed in with the same credentials. The User must have Multi session permission enabled.

If your Control Room and licensing allow multiple concurrent sessions, you can run Bot A on your first PC and Bot B on your second PC simultaneously.

Ensure that the bots are not trying to access the same resources or data simultaneously, as this could lead to conflicts.

Since you are using a workload management system to trigger bot execution, you can set up the workflow so that Bot A can trigger Bot B regardless of the device they are running on, as long as both are connected to the Control Room. Make sure that your Automation Anywhere license supports running multiple bots concurrently. Some licensing models may have restrictions on the number of concurrent executions or sessions allowed.

Sounds good, thank you for the explanation. I will look into my licensing for sure.
