Hi everyone,

I'm looking into installing Automation Anywhere A360 on Windows Server 2022 Standard Edition. The official document say it supports Data Center edition, but there's no clear info on Standard Edition. Any feedback or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi @Chalermrat ,

If this a Dev/Test instance, you can go ahead and install A360 on Standard edition. While installing the same, the system checks will show that the OS is not matching the expected one, but you can ignore it as the installation will not affect because of it.

But, if it is UAT/Prod environments, I would suggest going with the recommended prerequisites to get the optimum performance.

Hi @Chalermrat ,

Windows Sever 2022 Standard is the 'basic version' of Windows Server 2022. It is mainly developed for small to medium-sized businesses or for organizations that do not need things like Host Guardian Hyper-V Support. You also need CALs to access Windows Server Standard.

Windows Server 2022 Standard includes:

  • Basic Windows Server 2022 functionalities
  • 2 Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • 1 Hyper-V host

Still, you can install the A360 in the Windows Sever 2022 Standard Editions.
