Automation 360 (MV3) Plugin in Edge Gets Disabled Automatically

I am experiencing an issue where the Automation 360 (MV3) plugin in Microsoft Edge gets disabled automatically at times.

Yesterday, the plugin was enabled and working fine, but today it was disabled, which affected the scheduled run. I did not manually disable it, and I am unsure what is causing this behavior.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? What could be the possible reasons behind the plugin getting disabled automatically? Are there any settings or configurations that might prevent this from happening?

Thanks.

Hi @Om Keskar,

Can you please try below:

  1. Uninstall the Bot Agent(Control Panel->Uninstall->Automation Anywhere Bot Agent)
  2. Install the browser extension manually (Navigate to Extensions->Manage Extension->Get Extensions for MS Edge→ Search for “A360”)
  3. Reinstall the Bot Agent without enabling automatic extension installation

Also check with your IT department to see if there is any MDM software or policies that are disabling the plugin.

Hi @Om Keskar ,
It happened to me a couple of times.

It seems like Edge likes to automatically disable some extensions after an upgrade.
You can find something about it here.

I hope it helps!

@Om Keskar , Use GPO to force-install and always enable the extension using Automation 360 Extension ID and update URL
