Is there any way where we can assign a Bot creator license to a Control Room Admin where single sign on is also enabled.

Hi @Surbhi Yadav ,

You can't allocate licenses to Control Room Administrators.

Could you please let us know what exactly it is that you are trying to achieve?

We can help you out from there.

Kind Regards,

Hi @Ashwin A.K ,

Thank You for your reply.

We were trying to figure out how can CR Admin can also get involved in the development activities.

But as it is not possible, thinking of having a technical user and use this user for development activities but with this, the challenge is that SSO is implemented and now how to pass SSO for using the technical user for the development as SSO picks up the credential of the user of the machine.

Hi @Surbhi Yadav ,

For that you have to log in as admin and create a user account in AA with a bot developer license(as you create the user) with the respective ID(in case of Okta, it would be the Okta ID) and also add that user to a user group in Okta.

I performed SSO enablement with Okta, and during that process we had to create a user group and assign users to that particular user group.

After thats done, you can request the developer to try logging in and check whether he is able to access the instance.

Kind Regards,

Ashwin A.K
