Hi,

I have an new issue with a bot which i haven’t had before (as it has always been running fine on Bot runners)

I have a bot where it is placing text, into a text box, on website and works perfectly fine when I run it on my Dev machine. 

However, when I send it to the Bot runners it always seems to ‘Fail’ when placing in text into a search textbox (fail - as in puts in blank text).

Now, like i have mentioned works perfectly fine when running on my dev machine and performs as it should. I have even gone and changed the code and place it as ‘simulate text’ so it can work on Botrunners and increased the time (for when writing in text - should that be the issue) but no avail.

 

is it the packages?

Any ideas?

Could you please help me with the below things to narrow down the issue?

  • A360 build & Bot Agent versions (Dev vs Runner).
  • Browser (Chrome/Edge) + version and AA extension version on Runner.
  • Which package action you’re using now (e.g., Recorder: Set Value, Keystrokes: Type, Browser: Set Value).
  • Whether the field is inside an iFrame (and if you already switch frames).
  • Whether the Runner session is unlocked during execution (and how it’s launched: scheduled vs attended).
  • A sample of the element’s HTML (mask any sensitive info).
  • A snippet of the run log around the failure (especially the value you read back after typing).

I have managed to get it working by updating my Packages for my bot (Gone into the bot Bot>3 Dots in the corner>Packages> Updated all packages that used.

all working now
