Hello Team,

"There was an error creating the project" is the error message that appears when you try to create a new project in https://ai.automationanywhere.com/dashboard . Even after several tries under other names, the message "Please try again" remains.

Kindly refer to the screenshot that follows:

Hi @rajeshwar polaypally,

I haven't faced any issue while creating projects and agents

Please try the following,

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve unexpected errors.

Try a Different Browser: If you're using a specific browser, try switching to another one to see if the issue persists

I hope this helps

Hi @rajeshwar polaypally

Navigate to your profile > My Account > verify if the Name and Email fields(in the below image) are populated. If they are not filled(Not populated) in, this could lead to an authentication failure, which might be the root cause of the issue. It’s possible that your organization’s network is blocking access in the background.

I’d like to know if you can disconnect from your office network and attempt to log in to the portal using your personal network to create a project. If you’re able to create a project successfully on your personal network, it indicates that the issue is related to your office network, likely due to VPN connectivity problems.

I’ve encountered a similar issue. Below are the next steps I performed.

Issue Overview: After logging in, I’m unable to create a project on the ai.automationanywhere.com page.

Troubleshooting & Observations:

  • During the troubleshooting process, it was discovered that the user’s email address was missing in the user accounts section(refer above image). This prevented ai.automationanywhere.com from authenticating the user, resulting in the inability to view or create projects.
  • Further investigation revealed that all requests were being blocked by the customer’s internal network.

Recommended Next Steps:

  • Please collaborate with your IT team to whitelist the IP address "13.248.244.227," which corresponds to ai.automationanywhere.com.
