In February — our inaugural Delhi chapter meetup brought together developers for a day of live demos, hands-on sessions, and community-driven learning. If you missed it, consider this your catch-up. And if it sparks some FOMO — that’s great because we're coming back in June!

Automation, Meet Intelligence: APA in Action

Our Principal Product Managers Hemant Vaghela and Arun K Mudaliar kicked things off with a live demo of Agentic Process Automation (APA). Before diving in, they laid out the building blocks: individual automations feed into processes, which are then coordinated by AI agents — and together, these three layers form Agentic Process Automation (APA). The result is a system where deterministic workflows and intelligent, adaptive agents work in tandem.

Our new features!

  • Split and Merge flows in Mozart Orchestrator enable parallel branch execution — useful for processing multiple transactions simultaneously and avoiding bottlenecks.
  • Process Dashboard brings real-time visibility into run success rates, process aging, and execution outliers, with data that's fully sortable, filterable, and CSV-exportable.

We also saw Goal-based AI Agents in action. You set the objective; the agent figures out the steps. Agents autonomously combine tools, sub-agents, and APIs to get there — while built-in human-in-the-loop controls let teams review, escalate, or validate at any point.

Mike the Law Agent

Next up was a community-built demo that had everyone talking. Our Community Captain Inacio Fernandes, Lead - Innovation and Presales at Tangentia, walked us through how he built the Law AI Agent — tackling one of legal research's oldest pain points: hours of manual case digging, precedent-matching, and draft writing. Using AI Agent Studio, he showed how the agent takes a legal query, calls the Indian Kanoon API, runs similarity analysis to surface relevant precedents, masks PII through built-in guardrails, and generates a structured draft — all with a human-in-the-loop approval step before anything is finalized. One governed flow, start to finish. Watch it in action here.

Getting Hands-On with APA

Shreya Kumar, Technical Community Manager led a hands-on session to put theory into practice — using AI Agent Studio. Participants got a guided walkthrough on building a Job Talent Acquisition AI Agent using Agentic Process Automation (APA). The session covered:

  • Setting up the APA environment in our Control Room: Step-by-step instructions on initializing your workspace and accessing Automation Anywhere tools.
  • Defining agent goals: How to configure the agent to handle end-to-end talent acquisition, from candidate sourcing to initial screening.
  • Integrating with external systems: Demonstrations on connecting the agent with job boards and HR systems for seamless data flow.
  • Customizing workflows: Attendees learned how to tailor the agent’s behavior using advanced features, such as conditional logic and automated follow-ups.
  • Testing and iterating: The session encouraged experimentation, allowing everyone to test their agents in real-time and refine their workflows based on immediate feedback.

The collaborative environment encouraged peer learning, with participants sharing tips and troubleshooting together. By the end, many walked away with a working prototype and a clear understanding of how APA can be leveraged for practical business solutions.

And that’s a wrap! Here's what Shivangi Bhatia, one of our attendees, had to say about the meetup. Want to experience it for yourself? We're coming back on 6th June with more updates and live demos - register here to secure your spot!
