Unable to stop an activity in progress

I need to register a new device with my control room, but I am not allowed to delete my old device because there is an active bot run stuck in progress which I am unable to stop from the activity tab.

How to delete the existing device or how to remove the in progress task from device:

Install the postman desktop app.
Create post request for authentication.
Create another post for device reset.

Does the same steps will work for cloud version as it uses API key token instead of the user and password?
