Please verify your Automation anywhere extension is turned. and also let me know are you running the bot for first time in the UAT environment
Additionally, you can also try to capture any desktop application

@soumyadeep_c There is something interfering with intra-component communication. Ensure your machine is the active one and not someone else's. Try disabling then enabling your extension.

@Kaushal6 Sign up for one of our sessions. That is the only way to get that access. Community Edition will give you most of what Enterprise Edition gives in relation to RPA and APA. It is also off-topic for this thread.

@soumyadeep_c Then it must be some software interfering on your computer. Check with your IT department to disable any firewall, VPN, anti-virus, MDM, or other software that could be interfering.

@Kaushal6 Watch the events section for new events, and please keep threads on-topic.

Hi @soumyadeep_c,

I came across your post because I am experiencing a very similar issue.

I am using Automation Anywhere 360 Community Edition on Microsoft Edge (I’ve also tested it on Google Chrome with the same result).

When I use the Recorder Capture action and click Refresh to select an application or browser, the following error appears:
"
There was a problem at line 1.
Code: ba.bot.execution.error.without.reason
"

Additionally, when I try to use the recorder to record actions, I get the same error.

I’ve already tried the 3 steps you mentioned. Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

Did you perform any additional steps to resolve the problem?

Thank you in advance.

@william.reyes That’s pretty unusual. I would start by disabling all the actions in that Task Bot, then re-enabling some until the error is isolated to a specific action.
