Not receiving emails for CE credentials or password reset - round 2

Starting a new thread here since i didn’t get a response. 

 

I haven’t received any emails, nothing in spam,  waited hours/days.   can’t log in, someone please help.

There are multiple threads on this topic including one I answered yesterday. 

1. Contact your IT department to see if they filtered the email.

2. Have your IT department allow-list emails from the automationanywhere.com domain.

3. Sign up using Gmail.

I re-signed up for gmail and I recieved a dup account email that let me finally set a pw and log in. 

all set.

Hello, I am new to Automation Anywhere and I have registered for community edition and haven’t received emails yet. Can anybody please suggest?

Very frustrating that folks from 1 year ago (JeffTay), 2 months ago (Sai Yadav), and still today (me) are not getting the emails to complete signup to the Community Edition. Seems like a pretty important and basic problem to fix.

@LukeNicholls I agree! I wish there weren’t so many spammers out there that the spam filters have to be so tight.

As far as this being a basic problem, I don’t agree there. Looking at our internal chat on this topic, the emails are going out, but spam filters (either at the IT level or at the user’s level) are filtering the message. That is not a basic problem to solve.

What you can do, and has been mentioned on this board in the past, is to try using the “Forgot Password” functionality on the Community Edition sites. There are two:

https://community2.cloud-2.automationanywhere.digital/

See if using the password reset functionality will get you logged in.

Hello,

I signed up for the Community Edition and started the “Getting Your Environment Set Up” only to find that I did not receive an email for the control room link in order to install the bot. 

Who would I reach out to support for this issue?
